Dr King graduated from King’s College, University of London in 2009, and began working life in a busy NHS practice in Cheshire.
She is a very friendly and motivated dentist, having a strong interest in all aspects of dentistry.
Following practice, Stephanie received further training in Oral surgery and restorative dentistry at Manchester Dental Hospital.
Moving to Yorkshire she then undertook a junior doctor post in Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery at Leeds General Infirmary, during this time Stephanie passed postgraduate exams to become a Member of the faculty of Dental Surgery (Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh).
Prior to starting at the Allerton Dental Practice, Dr King worked in Special Care Dentistry in Manchester and the Royal Preston Hospital, providing sedation and treating patients with a wide range of medical problems and learning difficulties.
Stephanie has a keen academic interest, having had numerous publications in dental journals, and is currently completing a Master of Research (MRes) at the University of Manchester, learning research methods and dental public health.
Dr King looks forward to continuing to bring her skills to the Allerton Dental Practice, and hopes to widen the forms of sedation available at the practice.
